Quality: I believe the design is near to flawless. Construction is all plastic, so if I buy a travel case for it, it will be one with lots of padding. Zoom products seem to hold up well. I've owned a number of them.
Features: 24-bit recording, 24 track, w/onboard drum sampler, USB 2.0, very small foot print (extremely portable), nice drum samples, and no hard drive to fail? All for $500??? Hard to choose among a bunch of great features!
Ease of Use:The manual is adequate. Luckily, the interface and controls are pretty intuitive. Within an hour I was recording my first tracks.
Sound: Fidelity is very good (24-bit at 48.1 kHz)

H2 Handy Recorder Features at a Glance
The H2 Handy Recorder brings the ultimate in functionality and versatility to portable digital recording. A clear, backlit display features recording levels, time code, file name and remaining battery life. LEDs indicate Front, Rear, 2 Channel or 4 Channel modes and the recording angle: 90°, 120° or 360°. An Active Mic LED is on the front and back of the H2. Transport controls include one button recording, playback and pause, fast and rewind. Use the Menu key to enter the control menu and the cursor keys to navigate through the feature sets.
Within the menu, set recording parameters such as direction and polar pattern, activate the Auto Start function and set file format. And you'll find additional settings like Auto Gain Control
On the left side of the H2 is a 1/8 inch Phone/Line Output for monitoring and playback, Playback Volume and Power On and the AC power are located here as well.
On the right side of the H2, you can plug in a powered 1/8 inch external stereo mic. Setting levels is easy with a Mic Gain slider for Low/Medium/High gain. You can also plug instruments into the 1/8 inch Line In or use the input to digitize analog recordings.
Use the USB 2.0 port to move your files to a PC or Mac for storage, editing and playback. The time stamp function is great for reference during production. And you can even use the H2 as a USB mic and record directly to your favorite digital audio software. The Zoom H2 is now compatible with Mac OS X Leopard.

Quality:
I believe it is well made and will last for a long time. Dimarzio seems to have excellent quality control and I found no flaws. I would have
liked adjustible pole pieces but it's not a big issue.
Features:
This pickup sounds increadible! It combines the power of an active with the complexity of a ive and it's easy to use in any guitar that
will accept humbuckers, no cutting up your guitar to fit a battery. I'd love to see this offered in all the colors that the Evolution pickups
have. It came with no accessories.
Ease of Use:
If you know how to solder and read a wiring diagram it's easy. It's as easy as any other pickup to install. The manual/instructions were helpful.
It's very playable.
Value:
It's actually a good value. About the same as any other quality humbucker would cost and certainly cheaper than an active pickup would be. I
think the price is a major factor.
